What is a letter of protection?
A written promise, usually from your attorney, that our bill will be paid from your settlement or judgment.
Does an LOP change my care?
No. Your care, clinician and treatment plan are the same as for any other patient.
What happens if my case doesn’t settle?
Nothing. If your case doesn't settle, you won't be billed for the care you received under your letter of protection. We'll go over the terms before care begins.
Can I use health insurance instead?
Yes. We accept health insurance and self-pay as well as letters of protection. Ask us which fits your situation.
